💡 👑 GOLD LEAF MONCOLLE PIKACHU (2020) — the ultimate grail of the Tomy/MonColle line.
Context: on October 9, 2020, the «Pokémon» anime (ポケットモンスター, 2019 series) returned to TV Tokyo's Golden Time — Friday 6:55 p.m., its first primetime slot since September 2018. To celebrate, the campaign «金曜の夜を金ピカに！» («let's make Friday night golden!») named Pikachu «Golden Executive Producer» wearing a gold suit. That's where the gold theme comes from.
The figure: as part of the «4週連続視聴プレゼントキャンペーン» (4-consecutive-weeks-watching prize campaign), viewers collected letters announced during broadcast via data-broadcast and registered them. The prize was a MonColle Pikachu finished in REAL GOLD LEAF (金箔). Only 10 winners per drawing (抽選で10名様).
