🔍 How to spot the original
- Flooded with fakes (even stamped): Crobat is on the community list of Tomys flooded with bootlegs — and several fakes CARRY a Tomy stamp. On this figure, the stamp alone proves nothing.
- True rarity: Crobat rates "HTF" (hard to find) in the community 2nd-gen guide — one of the most hunted Johto figures. Cheap and "in stock" = suspect: real supply is tiny.
- Verification routine: Run the full routine: visible two-half seam, deep crisp base engraving, clean paint, no raw-PVC smell. On a piece this heavily faked, demand the seller's OWN photos of the base and seam — never buy off a stock photo.
