🔍 How to spot the original
- Two legit versions: There are TWO original Tomy Gastly: one with a dark purple gas cloud and one with a lighter cloud. A tone difference in the cloud is NOT proof of a bootleg by itself.
- Embossed TOMY & seams: The original has a crisp embossed 'TOMY' with no faded letters. Check the seams: bootlegs either lack them, or show rough edges that appear in some spots and vanish in others.
- Eye whites: The eye whites on the original are crisp. White fading at the corners is grounds for suspicion — though it can also be wear: always combine with stamp + seam.
