Pikachu PEARL COLOR (パールカラー) — Toys"R"Us Japan «Pokémon Christmas Campaign», from Nov 14, 2014: free gift with ¥5,000+ (~$33 USD) of Takara Tomy Pokémon purchases (¥3,000+ (~$20 USD) got a jumbo card). Brand-NEW «sitting, looking back» sculpt (ふりむき) debuting here in pearl finish; the normal-paint version only came out LATER (7-Eleven Odemashi BOX, Jul 2015) — a rare case of campaign-before-retail (tails at a different angle, too). Units undocumented. ✏️ CORRECTION: this entry used to say «Parker version / Toysaurus» — a garbled transliteration of パールカラー (pearl color) and トイザらス (Toys"R"Us). Source: tokiteto.chu.jp (cp1).
